I was thrilled when Nathan contacted me to photograph his proposal at beautiful Wormsloe Plantation on Isle of Hope! Such a beautiful area on it's own however add in a romantic proposal and it's even more amazing! I was able to hide behind a huge oak tree and wait for them to pass going down the long drive where he was planning to propose to Rachael. The drive is framed with spanish moss covered oaks and makes for such a romantic environment.
After the proposal we headed back into historic Savannah to do some engagement photos and it was just absolutely perfect.
Congratulations Nathan and Rachael!!

We drove back to the historic area of Savannah and walked the beautiful streets and photographed their engagement photos, it was a perfect day for it!

I adore little beach towns, nothing beats the feel of being sandy from the beach and riding a bike or golf cart around town and exploring a new area. I Took my 7 month old puppy, Quinby, to St. Simons to see how she likes the beach and neither one of us was disapointed. It's such a dog friendly town, the beaches are dog friendly and especially fun for pups when the tide is low. Quinby loved jumping and running around the tide pools. It's safe to say that she is most definiely a salty dog now. When we went it was still a little cold to be in the water so here's some fun places we visited.
Island Dog https://islanddogssi.net/ Such a fun dog store, also I really enjoy supporting small businesses!
Wake Up Coffee Company - A must for great coffee and a snack
Wormsloe Plantation (On Isle of Hope) while there drive along the Isle of Hope Marina. On one side of the road you have beautiful homes with picket fences framing their yards, then you look out the other side and you have the view of the boats lining the calm river. So picturesque!
Tabby House - A cute historic cabin that is now a home décor store! The charm is unreal and the shop is run by such a sweet woman!

My Salty Dog
This session was extra special for me, not only do I love the beach but I also had the joy of photographing my brother's family while vistiting them. It was a beautiful evening and we had so much fun taking their photos! The kids are growing up at the beach and are so confident in the water so it only seemed right to do their photos on the beach! Here's a few favorites from their session!
This session simply made me giddy! The vision came together so well and even Hazel the chicken posed for the camera during this colorful styled session!
Happy Monday!
I wanted to blog Rachael's business portraits today. I love being able to photograph other business owners. Especially when they want fresh and unique portraits for their business. I so enjoyed getting to know her better and capture portraits for her!
